Hospitality and friendliness seem to be lost in many places these days. I am proud to be the owner of a business where not only is it important to our family that our customers have a wonderful and “real” experience, but that we as the people working and running the business
are truly enjoying what we do. I started making pottery at 8 years old, when my father started our pottery business. I had a small “Melinda” section, where my somewhat heavy and lop-sided pots sold for less than $1 each. That was certainly a while ago - I have been honing my skills and have now been making pottery for over 20 years and have been in the family business as a full-time artist and business partner since 1995. What a wonderful life it is to work alongside my family and bring my daughter, Aven, and my dog, Louee, to work with me where I can enjoy their company throughout the day. What a gift it is to do what you love and love what you do – it is my
pleasure to share my art with the many people who come through our shop and studio every day.
