Blue Ridge Pottery - Classes

Pottery Classes 2011

We are going to offer our classes on a different basis this year.  Classes will be offered throughout the months of February, March and April of 2011.  The minimum number for a class is 3 people, the maximum is 6.  Two types of classes are being offered:

1.  Weekend Class Package
        Includes:
            -Friday afternoon check in and wine tasting at the BRMI 4-5.
            -Saturday  -morning and afternoon sessions on pottery wheel
            -Sunday  -morning trimming session
                     -throwing session in pm.
            -only offered with two night stay at one of our properties.  Min 3, Max 6.
            -Minimum age for class 21
            -Class Fee $100 plus $25 materials fee.
            -Does not include firing or glazing.
            -Requires reservations min. 1 week ahead.

2.  Half Day (3 hour) class
            -Minimum two persons, maximum 6.
            -requires reservations two days ahead.
            -This is an introductory class.
            -No experience needed.
            -Fee $60 includes materials
            -Firing and glazing extra charge
            -This is a wheel throwing class.
            -Children over 12 may take class

Please reserve early we will only do a limited number of classes this winter.  All classes will be taught by Alun our master potter.
