Can we check in later than 5pm?
Yes. Just ask for a "Late Check In" when you make your reservation (you can put it in the special requests section if making an online reservation). We will send you directions to the Lydia Spring House and give you a code to retrieve your keys from a lock box.
Is breakfast included? Can we pay extra to have a breakfast?
Sorry, no. At this time breakfast service is not available at the Lydia Spring House. Your fridge will be stocked with cream and sugar/sweet n lo and regular and decaf coffee are also provided. We suggest breakfast at the Lafayette (5 minute drive), or bring your own groceries and cook up a storm in the Lydia Spring House's fully stocked kitchen.
What is provided for our use at the Spring House?
Fully stocked kitchen (refrigerator/freezer,stove, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, Dishwasher, pots and pans, dinner ware, silver ware, cooking utensils, strainer etc) Iron and Ironing board, Hairdryers, Washer and Dryer, DVD player, small DVD library, kids games, small CD library, hiking guides, guide to local attractions, bedding, outdoor Hot Tub and Barbque.
What is NOT provided for our use at the Spring House?
Towels ( Face, Hand & Bath ) are not included with your stay at the Lydia Spring House. We do offer a 2 Day supply of Towels ( Face, Hand, & Bath ) at an additional charge of $40.00.
I am very tall, will I be comfortable at the Lydia Spring House?
This historic home was built when folks were shorter! Guests 6'0" and over may have to duck their heads going thru the doorways and may not be comfortable in the upstairs bedrooms. You may consider our Blue Ridge Mountain Inn Bed and Breakfast as a more comfortable alternative.
Can we stay just one night?
Sorry, no. This property has a two night minimum.
We only need one bedroom, does that mean you'll rent the other bedrooms to someone else?
No. The Spring House is only rented to one couple / group at a time. We charge you based on how many bedrooms are used, but any empty rooms are not rented to other parties.
Is there a minimum age for renting the Spring House?
Yes. Guests reserving the Spring House must be at least 25 years old
Can I bring my pet?
Sorry, no. For the sake of our guests with allergies we keep our properties pet free.
Can I bring my baby?
Yes! The Lydia Spring House welcomes children and babies. Please inquire about the availability of a Pack n Play and baby gate for the stairs.
How many people does the Lydia Spring House accommodate?
The Lydia Spring House sleeps 8 people maximum including children and babies.
Can we bring sleeping bags and have more than 8 people?

2-5 pm. We do our best to work with your schedule as our booking allow. Please ask if you'd like an early check in or a late check in.
