Lydia Spring House

The Lydia Spring House is located on State Route 33 just below a major spring in the mountains. Built in 1891 of solid Oak and Chestnut timbers, this house once served as the Lydia Post Office. With three large bedrooms and two bathrooms, couples and families will find The Lydia Spring House a charming and affordable escape from city life. The living room features a cozy fireplace and chimney created with stones collected from the mountainside.

A single couple may rent the building with access to the downstairs only. Groups of 3 to 6 may rent the entire building. Click Here to see rates. Book Online


The Downstairs of the Lydia Spring House includes a fully equipped Kitchen, Bathroom, Living Room with Cozy Stone Fireplace, and a Large Bedroom with King Size Bed. Bed Linens are included. For Groups of 3 to 6 wishing to rent the entire building, the upstairs includes 2 Large Bedrooms with Queen Size Beds. The Upstairs Master Bedroom includes a full En suite Bathroom. Bath Towels ( Face, Hand, & Bath ) are not included in your stay. You may choose to bring towels from home or add our Towel Service to your Stay.
